This 8 String Lap Steel poster is laid out in E6 tuning: A - C# - E - G# - B C# - E - G# Low to High. This is the Don Helms E6 tuning. You'll hear a lot of Helms in Hank Williams Sr. tunes. He also backed Patsy Cline, Stonewall Jackson, The Louvin Brothers, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, among many others. The 11" x 8.5” poster is great to put in your notebook or on the wall. The 17" x 11" poster is perfect to hang on the wall wherever you practice for easy reference, instead of flipping through a book. The poster displays the location of the notes on the fingerboard. Chord notations are listed above the fingerboard where the bar is held above the corresponding fret. This information can be found in books, but rarely on one easy to read chart!
